I've been going around in circles trying to decide where to take my Escalade. It's got a delayed engagement when I put it in drive first thing in the morning, takes a second or two before it actually moves. After that it's fine all day. I've asked three different shops and gotten three different ...

There's this high pitched squeal coming from the front right that only shows up once the brakes are warm, so it never happens when I actually take it in for someone to hear. Classic. Pads still have meat on them, discs look fine to my untrained eye, so I'm wondering if it's a sticking caliper or ...

I just moved to Business Bay a couple months ago and my car is due for new brake pads. The dealer quoted me something insane so I'm looking for something more reasonable. I've asked a few people at work but they all just say go anywhere, which isn't helpful. I need a quality brake pad repair in ...

I'm looking at a used 2018 BMW 5 Series that's parked in Umm Suqeim and the seller is only free on weekday mornings which makes it a pain to take the car anywhere far. I've never bought a BMW before and honestly the potential repair costs scare me a bit, especially with the turbo and all the ...

I'm updating our guest bathroom and thought I could handle most of it myself since I've done tile and paint before. The vanity swap seemed easy enough until I realized the old drain lines don't line up with the new sink and the shutoff valves are seized. Now I'm stuck with a half demolished bathroom ...

I've got a 2013 328i that's been misfiring on cylinder 3 for about a month now. I've replaced the coil, the plug, and even swapped injectors around but the code keeps coming back. I'm not a mechanic, just someone who watches too many YouTube videos and thought I could save a few dirhams. Now I'm ...

So my brother and I both bought cars around the same time last year. He went with ceramic coating only, I went with PPF on the front end plus ceramic on top. He's been giving me grief about spending extra, saying I fell for the hype. Fast forward to now and he's got three stone chips on his hood ...

I've been doing the pay as you go thing with my Wrangler for three years now, bouncing between whoever's closest when something comes up, and honestly I'm starting to wonder if I'm just bleeding money on stuff that could be caught early. Last month alone I paid for an oil change at one place, then a ...

I've been putting this off for way too long but I think I finally need to do something about my car's headlights because they've gone completely yellow and cloudy over the years and honestly it's getting dangerous driving at night. I live in the Musaffah area and my daily commute involves some ...

I'll be honest, I'm getting too old for this manual handling nonsense. I run a small logistics operation in Jebel Ali and we deal with a lot of heavy shipments, mostly automotive parts and industrial equipment, and watching my guys struggle to move these massive pallets and crates around is painful ...
